What It Does
VoltQueue is software-only workplace EV charging management. It sits on top of whatever chargers you already have and adds the coordination layer that makes shared stalls actually work.
Real-time stall status
Every employee sees which stalls are available, in use, overdue, or out of service — without asking anyone.
Fair queue management
When all stalls are full, a transparent first-in, first-out queue decides who charges next. No more side deals or spreadsheets.
Automatic notifications
Employees get an email or Slack DM the moment a stall is free. No refreshing, no waiting.
Slack integration
Join the queue, check status, and get notified entirely through Slack. No new app required.
QR code check-in
Scan the QR code at the stall to check in and claim your spot. Takes five seconds.
Admin analytics
Track utilization rates, peak hours, and session history. Make expansion decisions based on data, not gut feeling.
Software Only
Most workplace EV charging software requires networked chargers, hardware installation, or replacing your existing EVSE equipment. VoltQueue requires none of that. It's pure software that layers coordination on top of any physical chargers — networked or not, Level 1 or Level 2, any brand.

FAQ
Do I need networked chargers to use VoltQueue?
No. VoltQueue works with any chargers — networked or non-networked. Stall status is managed manually by employees checking in and out through the app, QR code, or Slack.
How long does setup take?
Most workplaces are fully set up within an hour. You create your workspace, add your stalls, invite employees, and print the QR codes. No IT involvement required.
How does the queue work when all stalls are full?
Employees join the queue via the app, QR code, or Slack command. When a stall becomes available, the next person in line receives an automatic notification. If they don't claim it within the configured window (default: 15 minutes), it passes to the next person.
Can we set up priority charging for certain employees?
Yes. Admins can designate priority users (e.g., employees with medical needs, certain executives) who are placed ahead of the standard queue when they join.
What happens if someone doesn't respond to their notification?
If the notified employee doesn't claim the stall within the configured window, VoltQueue automatically notifies the next person in queue. Admins can also see and override the queue at any time.
Is there a limit on how many employees can use VoltQueue?
No. VoltQueue is priced per stall, not per user. You can have as many employees in the system as you like.
